What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. Build Fleet AIQ also uses similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work the same way for the purposes described here.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Sign-in and session tokens, security and fraud-prevention, load balancing, and remembering that you accepted our Terms. The platform cannot function without these.
- Preferences. Interface choices such as voice-assistant settings, driver mode, dismissed prompts (for example the install-app prompt) and product-tour progress.
- Analytics. Aggregate, privacy-respecting measurement of page views, feature usage and errors so we can fix problems and improve the product.
- Payments. Our Merchant of Record, Paddle, sets cookies during checkout to process transactions and prevent fraud.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site ad targeting.
Third parties that may set cookies
- Supabase-backed authentication — session and refresh tokens.
- Paddle — checkout, billing and fraud prevention.
- Analytics and error reporting providers — usage and crash diagnostics.
How long they last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies — including authentication and preference storage — typically last from a few days up to twelve months, or until you clear them.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a private/incognito mode. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent core features from working. You may also use your browser's "Do Not Track" or global privacy signals where supported.
Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy; the "Last updated" date above will change. For questions see our Privacy Policy or contact support from inside your account.
